Preliminary Work Results

EXECUTED METHODS:

  • The team decided to determine 10 Most Basic Social Skills iduring the Kick-off Meeting
  • Not just from literature, from the field work research!
  • An interview form was prepared for PWD employee, Non-PWD employee and also employer
  • The interviews were made in Turkey, Lithuania and Holland

 

TOOLS USED:

  • Interview evaluation form (written)
  • Providing version of interview form in easy language for PWD Employee
  • Google Form of easy language version of interviews for PWD Employees

 

FEEDBACK / REACTIONS / CONCLUSIONS TO THE METHODS:

  • More closed questions, not open ones!
  • It wasn’t innovative
  • There was a lack in easy read and easy language
  • In one aspect, It was discrimination to apply the interview for PWD employees.

Work results

  1. Literary research was conducted on individuals with special needs on the labour market.
  2. We reported on the skills needed to be developed in individuals with special needs on the labour market and methods to develop these skills.
  3. Different questions were composed in order to evaluate the different aspects relating to these these skills; the individuals with special needs, their employers and colleagues and co-workers. Questionnaires were prepared for these three groups.
  4. The questionnaires were distributed to these groups within the participating companies maintaining an international presence.
  5. The results are reflected in the written report.
