successful self presentation

My name is
Marika Lombardi

I live in Modigliana, a small town in Emilia-Romagna Region

I live with my parents and my sister in the old part of the town.

I work at the educative-working centre “La Coccinella” (“The Ladybug”)

I do different things: pompoms, keychains and doorstops, for example.

Here are some of our work products

In my free time,
I like going to the gym,
walking and sunbathing

My experience with STELLA project

  • I liked the meetings with Alessandra, Elena and Simona
  • I felt proud on the day of the calendar presentation

I overcame my fear of having my photo taken

(this is my photo in our calendar)

What I expect from STELLA project

  • To meet people from other countries (like the Lithuanian group of JDC who visited Kara Bobowski last year)
  • and to learn new, useful things

GRAZIE !
THANK YOU !

FEEDBACKS / REACTIONS / CONCLUSIONS ON METHODS:

  • Brainstorming and the group discussion are effective.
  • Members equally participated in the discussion and shared ideas.
  • Minimum guidance needed.
  • Role playing along with PPT usage, also, helpful. Repetitions and the effort to explain “how to..” to others led members to better understanding of the individual parts of the procedure.

SKILL | OBJECTIVE:

3 Skill: Organizing a meeting

Things to consider

  • Finding space | date | time
  • Finding and contacting topic | speakers
  • Planning a detailed schedule for the day

  • Distributing responsibilities: team work

METHODS EXECUTED:

  • role play
  • power point presentation
  • brainstorming | group discussion
  • post it notes
  • guidance | tuition
  • experiential exercises

FEEDBACKS / REACTIONS / CONCLUSIONS ON METHODS:

  • Group discussion led to successful sharing of ideas.
  • More guidance needed from the coordinator.
  • Organization of responsibilities seemed the most challenging:
  1. Post-it notes for aspects of successful team work were found helpful.
  2. The experiential exercise on strengths and weaknesses of the members was also found interesting.
  3. Role playing on actually planning it, perhaps the most helpful.
